As the first Montessori school in Colorado and the oldest independent school in Boulder, Jarrow has shaped the lives of generations of children and families. Since 1964, we have grown into a thriving Montessori community with full classrooms, long-tenured teachers and administrators, and deeply engaged parents.

Joining Jarrow Montessori means becoming part of a legacy of high-quality Montessori education—enriched by the unique experiences only the Colorado foothills can provide. From your first touchpoint in admissions through graduation at 6th grade, we partner with families every step of the way.

If you are seeking a kind and welcoming community where your children truly belong—one that offers a rigorous, engaging curriculum rooted in real-world skills and inspired by Dr. Montessori’s vision for Peace Education—you will find it here.
